Hi, I'm Sonia — a board-certified Family Medicine physician and a qualified MBSR instructor. I have trained in MBSR at Brown University and the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
I've been practicing mindfulness for over 10 years. But for most of that time, I struggled to make meditation a consistent habit — even though I knew the science behind it. MBSR provided the structure, the community, and the evidence-based approach that I needed to be more consistent in my practice.
That experience is what led me to decide to become an MBSR teacher — and in 2025 to open It's Always Now LLC, with one mission: to make high-quality mindfulness training accessible to everyone, regardless of background or experience.
