What is the MBSR course?
MBSR is an evidence-based 8-week program that teaches practical mindfulness skills. It is a scientific, researched approach that has been found to be of benefit in many health conditions and improve one's sense of wellbeing. It is non-sectarian and in harmony with any faith based tradition.

In MBSR, we explore ways of paying attention and returning to the present moment.
What You'll Learn
Explore themes of wholeness, capability, suffering, perception, and conditioning, as well as the patterns of automatic, habitual stress responses. Learn how to integrate mindfulness into daily life.

Body Scan
Body scan meditation guides attention mindfully through the whole body, starting at the feet and moving upward to the head.

Mindful Meditation
Mindful meditation is resting awareness in the present moment, noticing thoughts and sensations with openness and without judgment.

Mindful Yoga
Mindful yoga links movement and present-moment awareness. It emphasizes slow, intentional transitions, listening to the body, and staying anchored in the present moment.

Mindful Eating
Mindful eating is paying full attention to food, noticing taste, texture, smell and hunger cues, with slow, non-judgmental awareness.
